Learning Materials

The Tutor may provide additional learning materials, resources, or exercises to aid the student’s progress.

These resources remain the property of Learn A Language Ltd at all times and are not for redistribution.

It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that the student has access to necessary resources or materials (e.g. textbooks, software)

Responsibility & Expectations

The client acknowledges that while the Tutor will make every reasonable effort to facilitate the student’s learning, the student’s progress depends on their commitment and effort.

The Tutor does not guarantee specific academic results or outcomes but will strive to improve the student’s understanding and performance in the subject.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the tutoring agreement with 4 weeks’ notice.

If the Client wishes to terminate the agreement before completion, any outstanding payments are due immediately.

Liability

The Tutor is not liable for any damages or injuries sustained during sessions unless due to the Tutor’s negligence.

The Tutor is not responsible for the student’s actions outside of tutoring sessions or for external factors that may affect the student’s academic performance.

Services Provided

The Tutor will provide private tutoring sessions in the agreed language (ESOL/French/Spanish) at the agreed level (National 4/5/ Higher/Beginner) as agreed.
Tutoring will be conducted in-person or online as agreed, and may include assignments, exercises, and guidance to aid the student’s learning.
These terms and conditions govern the provision of tutoring services provided by Learn A Language LTD, hereinafter referred to as “the Tutor,” to [Student’s Name] or their parent/guardian, hereinafter referred to as “the Client.” By booking tutoring services, the Client agrees to these terms and conditions.

Scheduling & Duration

Sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreed-upon times.
Each tutoring session will last for 1 hour
Any changes to the schedule must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

Payment Terms

The fee for each tutoring session is as agreed prior to signing up. [amount per hour or per session].
Payments are due before each session (either weekly or monthly) in advance.
Payments can be made by bank transfer: Learn A Language Ltd, Account Number 38609084. Sort Code 60-83-71.

A late fee of 10% may apply for overdue payments.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Session cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will incur a cancellation fee of 50%.

If the tutor is unable to attend the session, the Tutor will offer a rescheduled session or refund the session fee
