Myself, my husband and two friends have just finished our 6 week course with Marie in beginners Spanish. We all visit Spain frequently and felt we wanted confidence in speaking when we go shopping, dinners, dealing with day to day situations. Marie completely tailored the course to all of our individual needs, making all of the language relevant to each of us and helpful for our visits. Marie put lots of effort into her lessons with my son to help him gain a National qualification on Spanish. She provided lots of notes, recordings and emails in Spanish and an English translation to help him fully understand and grasp the different areas of the course. She is patient, understanding, and is always providing solutions or alternatives to circumvent any comprehension problems Matt was experiencing to help him achieve his best.

Marie tutored our son Andrews for his Nat 5 Spanish exam. He’d just scraped a C in his prelims but we were convinced he could do better with a bit of direction and motivation. Marie was brilliant. Really knowlegeable about the exam requirements, helping to focus Andrew’s efforts in the right areas. She brought out the best in Andrew, and he enjoyed his tutor sessions – no resistance from a teenage boy so must be good! And when exam time came, he achieved an A grade. We are so proud and very grateful for Marie’s expert skill. Would highly recommend – definitely worh it if you’re thinking about it.

Marie is an excellent French tutor. My son’s confidence improved considerably with Marie’s tutoring in National 5 French. Marie ensured my son was thoroughly prepared for his National 5 French exam, providing homework, past paper questions and audio recordings to assist with pronunication helping him to achieve a good grade. I would highly recommend Marie as a tutor.
